There are millions of tips out there on how to fly with kids, what to bring on camping vacations, which suitcase to buy, where to go and what to see in just about every corner on Earth. What I want to share today is something a little different – something that we discovered last summer during a family snorkeling trip in Florida.
Try something you all haven’t done before. The key to allowing the family to enjoy each other on vacation is a little time exploring something totally new. Really. Once we all decided to go snorkeling, it seemed we hit every possible wave and nearly catapulted our youngest over board at one point. Now we laugh at the boating adventure, but it was scary at the time.
So, after finding a beautiful spot and jumping into the ocean, it was time to relax and explore the great below. Spending a little time exploring the beauty of the tropical fish, then to reunite to share personal coral discoveries made our vacation that much more special. Back on the boat and onto shore, we exchanged fun findings and were ready to continue our family vacation together again.
